Taken May 2011 from the ancient site of Buddhist worship Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia. Where ruined temples now stand was once the largest site of, first Hindu, then Buddhist worship. Delicate carvings & inscriptions decorate the walls & temples are built in typical Khmer style to resemble the many faces of Buddha. Angkor has an aura of calm, tranquility & knowing. Stunningly beautiful architect & vast lakes of blooming lilies where children swim.
